Extreme Survival In The Heart Of The Jungle.
06:00 a.m., departure from Puyo in private transportation via Macas, 59km, approximately one hour. We will be arriving at the meeting point for our survival in the heart of the Amazon at the entrance to Washi Mura (Loma del Mono) here we will receive instructions on how to survive in the jungle.
08:00 a.m. Typical Shuar breakfast follow by an intense walk to Washi mura where we will make our Shuar-style camp, here we will eat what nature gives us and we will have a unique experience in a more natural way, during our stay here we will be accompanied by a Shaur family to teach us about the wild life.
Walk to the Bobonasa river, here we will try to fish and look at the jungle in its natural state and we will collect some palms or fruits to eat naturally cooked on fire, during the night nocturnal walk in order to observe nocturnal animals.
After learning more about the flora and fauna, we’ll collect our luggage back to the main road and at Mama Yaun’s house a delicious typical lunch awaits us before we wait for the public transport that will take us to the city of El Puyo.
