Yasuní Biosphere: 4 Days | 3 Nights

Day 1

On the starting day of your tour, AmazonTravel can arrange pickup for the airport, bus station, or your Hotel to the AmazonTravel offices, where your guide will go over details and safety precautions about your trip before departing at 10:30 a.m. from the marina. We’ll travel by motorized canoe with all the necessary security about 2.5 hours down the impressive Napo River to the community cabins we’ll be staying at. After Check In and a brief induction of your stay, lunch will be served followed by our first jungle walk to observe local birds and monkeys.

Day 2 

Breakfast will be served at 06:00 a.m. After which we will do various activities such as wildlife sighting of species like toucans, orioles, capuchin, and squirrel, visit the 45-meter-high tower built next to a gigantic Ceibo tree, flora walks, and visit the parrot saladeros where we can observe more than eleven species of parrots including macaws.

We’ll return to the lodge for lunch. Our afternoon will include more wildlife watching on the banks of the Napo River. After dinner, we’ll take a night walk in order to observe frogs, nocturnal mammals, snakes, and insects.

Day 3

Breakfast will be served at 06:00 a.m. We’ll prepare our luggage for departure before departing for a morning wildlife walk in the jungle. We’ll return for lunch and check out of our cabins and transfer to Pompeya where we’ll stay for our final night. Once settled, we’ll visit the Limoncocha Biological Reserve where we’ll head out on to the lagoon to see the birds, monkeys and other wildlife that call the lagoon home. As the sunsets, we’ll begin to watch for caiman. Finally we’ll return to Pompeii and our rooms for dinner and rest.

Day 4 
Breakfast will be served at 05:00 a.m; then we leave for El Coca with an arrival time of 09:00. Transfer to the airport or hotel.

• All the rest of the heavy luggage will be transported by canoe and by our staff. It’s recommend to have a day bag and your camera with you
