The next three hours will be in a motorized canoe that will go downstream, in what will be the beginning of an unforgettable experience in our tropical jungle, the Ecuadorian Amazon.
During your arrival you will be cordially received with a refreshing energizing drink, an Amazonian sandwich and a brief informative session with general information about your stay at the Lodge, then Check In.
12:00, Introduction to the rainforest (Guide).
Then your Guide will provide you with the necessary information about the tropical forest, the Amazon and the cultures that inhabit it. The idea is to start your activities with a knowledge of the place you have just arrived and the culture that manages it.
The Lodge has electricity from 05:00 am to 06:30 and 18:30 to 22:30
14:30, “Sendero del Tapir” in a walk inside the tropical forest, we will visit an incredible animal salting area, during our journey on the trail, we will have the possibility of finding Monkeys, Sahinos, Deer or discover their tracks or footprints It all depends on nature, during our return to the Lodge we will hear the songs of birds and howls of the Monkeys.
18:00, Finally we will return to our camp, to take a refreshing bath and have dinner.
19:30, Dinner will be served. Make yourself comfortable while our STAFF serves you.
06:30, This morning we’ll head downstream
07:00, Visit to parrots salting. From our boat, we will observe hundreds of parrots that arrive at this unique place, to ingest the mud rich in mineral salts and thus improve their digestion.
08:30, Walk to the Observation Tower.
After a 30 minute walk, the observation tower comes into view. This amazing infrastructure will allow you to climb 40 meters above the forest canopy. Here your skilled guide will help you discover the colorful and elusive birds of the Amazon, nature allows us to observe primates such as howler monkeys and Chorongos.
11:00, Walk to the parrot saladero.
After a short walk, we will be visiting the parrot saladero, here up to 11 species of parrots fall in certain seasons, among them the Scarlet Parrot, alicovaltico parakeet, feel comfortable in one place because this activity is usually successful for observation.
13:00, Transfer to the Lodge where a delicious lunch awaits us.
15:30, Bird watching on the islands, then we move to a beach bank of the Napo River to enjoy a refreshing swim and a spectacular sunset that the heart of Yasuní offers us.
20:30, Night walk, in order to observe Frogs, Rodents and Amphibians.
08:00, Walk to the Chorongo Trail in the heart of Yasuní where our guide will show us some medicinal plants, trees and shrubs, palm trees, and we return for lunch.
15:00 Canoe navigation in order to observe other species of birds and enjoy the Sunset.
07:30, We go out by canoe to Yaku Kawsay (the underwater world), a place where we will find what exists in the Yasuní carved in wood, then we walk in the jungle in order to find other animals.
12:30, Lunch in the jungle
15:00, Limoncocha Biological Reserve. With a 40-minute navigation we will visit the Limoncocha lagoon, very famous for the observations of Caimans, here we will see different species of common birds and exotic birds, howler monkeys, Barizo Monkeys, with luck the Black Caimans.
18:00, We return to the camp, Dinner and rest.
08:30, Check Out. We left with all our luggage ready for the transfer to visit the culture.
11:30, We will be received by the family of the community, here we learn about their worldview of culture.
13:00, We will taste the typical gastronomy accompanied with organic products from the area.
14:00, Finally we take our boat back to Coca.
