You will navigate the imposingFrom here we’ll head down the Napo River (about 2.5 hours) to the community cabins where we’ll be staying for the tour. After check0in and a brief introduction of your guide, we’ll have lunch and then depart on our first walk in the jungle to observe monkeys and birds.
Breakfast 06:00. This morning we will visit the parrot saladeros on the banks of the Napo River to see several species of lorikeets and parakeets gathering. Next, we’ll visit the 45-meter-high Añangu tower and ascend to the highest point of the jungle, for a bird’s eye view of the rainforest and the opportunity to see parrots, monkeys among other species that call the canopy home.

During the afternoon your guide will take you through the shifting islands created by the Napo River. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and take in the wild beauty of the mighty Napo and observe the shore birds that dwell on its islands and banks.

From here, we’ll take a vehicle to the town of Limoncocha and check-in to our cabins for the evening. Once settled, we’ll head directly to the Limoncocha Biological Reserve to explore its lagoon and observe its wildlife.
