“Adventure is worthwhile.” -Aristotle
Our trip begins at 9:00 am. We will depart the city of Coca and travel by road to Pasohurco (about 1 hour and 20-minute drive). Once at our destination, we will meet with our local guide before continuing on to the terrestrial and marine and fossil sites.
Our next stop will take us to a close encounter with the largest fish in the Amazon River Basin, the Arapaima. While here we will have a chance to fish for pacu and piranha followed by lunch.
After lunch, we will embark on a small hike through the surrounding jungle to learn a little about the flora and fauna that dwell here. For the rest of the afternoon, we will spend enjoying the waterfalls of Carachupa Pakcha, or swimming in the pools.
Our tour end with our return to Coca at approximately 15:00 pm.
