Full Day at Yasuní

Limoncocha

Enjoy a unique experience with an encounter with the largest reptile in the Amazon, the black caiman (melanosuchus niger). According to myths and legend, the black caiman is said to reach the length of 6 meters long. Limoncocha is 1.5 hours down the Napo River from Coca in the Sucumbíos Province. Limoncocha is a great place to see not only the black caiman, but other wildlife such as birds, monkeys, and other creatures that visit the lagoon.
