Yasuní Biosphere: Full Day

Join us for one day in the Yasuní. We’ll pick you up from your hotel or meet you at our office at 5:15am. At 5:30 am, we’ll depart by boat to Yasuní National Park and arrive around 7:30am. Our first stop is the salt licks of the Napo river where we’ll see parrots and lorikeets. Afterward we’ll have breakfast at the Yasuní Guard Station followed by a hike through the Jungle to observe and learn about the flora and fauna found in the Yasuní. During our hike, we’ll visit the 40ft Observation Tower to get a bird’s-eye view of the jungle canopy. We’ll spend the afternoon with the Kichwa Community for Lunch (typical Ecuadorian fare) and some learning about their culture. At 2:30 we’ll depart for Coca and arrive back by 5:30 pm.

IMPORTANT:

• The only thing that you should take close to you during your trip is your hand luggage and your camera equipment, all the rest of the heavy luggage will be transported by canoe and by our staff.
• If you have a high level physical disability, this type of tour is not recommended.
• The sample itinerary is subject to change according to weather conditions, these changes will not be harmful but activities will be intensified
• It is important to bring negative PCR or proof of vaccination
• Pets are not allowed
