Misahualli is a beautiful town located in the Ecuadorian Amazon Province of Napo in the canton of Tena known as the “Capital of Guayusa and Canela”.This place offers you the opportunity to experience a unique and fascinating ancestral Kichwa world. The crystalline rivers that feed the exuberant flora and fauna highlight your gastronomic, biodiverse, and cultural adventure, which will awaken your senses and connect you with nature freely.
We’ll meet at the Malecón of the City of Tena at 08:00 a.m. and start our tour along the waterfall route in the Latas sector. At 17:30 pm we’ll transfer to the Ama Ecolodge in Misahuallí and check in.
Our day starts with a 07:00 a.m. breakfast, afterward, we’ll travel to the port Misahuallí to see monkeys before traveling up the Napo River to the Pamak Maki Museum to learn about medicinal plants and make artisanal chocolate. Next we will visit the community of Muyuna where we’ll have lunch. During the afternoon, we partake in Cultural activities like native dances and immerse ourselves in the rich culture.
After breakfast at 07:30 a.m. we’ll spend the early morning navigating the Misahuallí or Napo river before finally returning to Ama Ecolodge for lunch and checking out at 1:00 pm.
