We’ll depart from the bus terminal at 08:00 am and travel by land for about 30 minutes to the cabins Kindy Yaku where we’ll check-in. After that we’ll head out to the OMAERE park. The 15-hectare pack was reforested with the most important plant used by the local indigenous people for food, medicinal purposes, and daily life.
We’ll return to the cabins for lunch and during the afternoon we’ll visit Yanacocha to do some wildlife watching. Finally we’ll return to the cabins for dinner and night integration, bonfires and something else.
Breakfast will be served at 07:00 am before we head out to see the giant Paiche (Arapaima) and visit the indigenous culture where we’ll enjoy cultural activities, an ancestral-fare lunch, and canoeing. We’ll visit the Ola vida waterfall. To end the day we will visit the Indichuri Viewpoint, where we’ll enjoy the spectacular landscape of the river Pastaza a perfect opportunity for pictures as we watch a spectacular sunset over the Amazon jungle. While we wait for the sun to set, you can swing on the long vines in true Tarzan-style!
Return to the cabins for dinner and rest.
After a 06:00 am breakfast, we’ll head out to the Cueva de los Tayos on the river Pasture to see a very unique and shy bird, the Tayos bird also known as the Oil bird.
Lastly, we’ll head back to the cabins for lunch at 15:00 pm.
