An experience in the heart of the Amazon and closer to heaven to disconnect from the city, get closer to nature, indigenous culture and oneself.
10:30 Transfer from El Coca airport, transfer by private car via Loreto to the main dock in Puerto Rico, Napo and Orellana provincial border on the banks of the Napo River, where we will board a motorized canoe with all the necessary security, for 20 minutes on the Napo River, largest tributary of the Amazon River. During the trip we will have a panoramic view of the edges of the jungle where we will observe a virgin forest reserve of thousands of hectares.
13:00 we will arrive at APU-Ecolodge, where they will receive us with a welcome cocktail prepared with the energy plant of the Amazon, the Guayusa.
They will be assigned their respective spacious luxury rooms with bathroom and private balcony, which will have a panoramic view of the native forest and the Napo River. You will feel in heaven.
General instructions will be given in the communal area.
13:30 Lunch
15:30 Our first hiking “Forest Therapy” will be carried out along the route of the Lodge suitable for all ages. Here we can appreciate nature in its maximum splendor, we will walk through streams of crystalline water “Yaku-Ñawi” (eye of water) from the waterholes of the Amazon, here a “Facial Treatment” with healing mud. Bird watching and the occasional mammal. Approximate journey of 1 hour.
18:00 We will enjoy the sunset in the heart of the Amazon with the panoramic view from the highest point of APU-Ecolodge.
19:00 Dinner with food typical of the place such as cassava and Maito, (fish from the area such as carp, bocachico, tilapia wrapped in a bijao leaf) chonta etc… ..
After dinner you can enjoy the traditional Scorpio-shot or another traditional cocktail at the bar accompanied by the imposing sound of nature, the moon and the stars.
06:00 We will be able to observe the monkeys (Titis) that visit us in the morning from the restaurant or from the balconies of each room.

08:30 We will board the boat to go to the Kichwa community, second hike around the “Yaku Uku” lagoon (inland) where we will observe exotic birds Hoatzines (endangered birds) charapas (flat turtles). then meeting with the Shaman for a cleanse for bad energy with medicinal plants.
We will participate in their customs such as the preparation of chicha with cassava, preparation and storage of their food and the use of spears and blowguns for hunting. We can test our aim with these tools.
You can buy handicrafts from the community made by hand with fibers and seeds from the native forest.

15:00 Motorboat ride along the Huachiyaku River where we can observe turtles (flat-shelled Charapas), admire Hoatzines (prehistoric birds in the process of extinction), otters or water dogs, and observe the exuberant flora of the forests and primary trees.
If time allows us, we will go and rest on the Arena Beach on the banks of the Napo river (optional bathing on the banks of the Napo river under the responsibility of each passenger), where we will admire the beauty of being in the heart of the jungle Ecuadorian, accompanied by the Guayusa energy drink or some seasonal fruit. And a refreshing and healing bath in the “Chorrera Sumak” (Pretty) with crystal clear spring water.

After dinner we will take a night walk (optional) through the forest where we will enter the jungle in search of its native fauna, such as: toads, insects, reptiles, plants and fungi (several of them phosphorescent). Also You can watch the sunset accompanied by a courtesy cocktail on your last night, where you can share your experience.
